Idle Dollars 04:36
Shut up, it's not time for talking, you can hear my sentiments dropping to the floor, but not anymore. We can all hear just what you've been saying, the story, the punchline, but what's most aggravating now, is how you were allowed. You gave up on us, and we looked up to you somehow. Your legs grow weak with all that you carry, like a dog you'd rather have your treasures buried than, give them back to your fellow man. Tolerance has always been subjective, you'll always be poor when there's money to be collected, yeah - you've gotta raise that rent. What's that sound, is that a coin that just hit the ground? Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Yeah, what'd you get paid? Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, babe, go and put it in the safe, where it'll grow, it'll grow, it'll grow! Conspiracists all sit smoking and drinking, but at least they keep moving, evolving, and thinking, yeah, they haven't fallen in your trap. You can keep on attacking with high aimed precision, no price is too high for a dignitary's opinion yet, 'til it can't be met. You fill our cup, then tell us when we've had too much. Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Yeah, what'd you get paid? Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Your idle dollars are the devil's workshop, Babe, go and put it in the safe, if you want to go all the way down, you better go down all the way, go down all the way. If you want to go all the way down, you better go down all the way - If you want to go all the way down, all the way, go and sell it off to the state.

The Valley 03:39
Come down, into the valley, my little child, my little one. See all that has been blooming, under the bright forgiving Sun. We bleed for one another, for each other, for we are one. Stand tall, utterly fearless, my little child, my little one. Do tread out from your waters, don't care or worry, my only son. Fight those, who stand against you, love those who're with you, my little son. Look deep into the fire, my little child, my little one. Rest now, ignore disturbance, my little child, my little one. Come down, into the valley, my little child, my little one. See all that has been blooming, under the bright forgiving Sun. We bleed for one another, for each other, for we are one. Stand tall, utterly fearless, my little child, my little one.

The way I see it, we should all be getting high, Cause you know we feel it, and we're barely getting by. It only takes a little money, and it takes even less time. Cause when the days are crawling, and the nights just fly on by. When I get up in the morning, and my head ain't pounding my mind. I may get just a little foggy, and I may seem just a little shy. The way I see it, we should all be getting….. Cause you know we feel it, and we're barely getting by. It only takes a little money, and it takes even less time.
4.
I can't blame you, for the things you go and say and do. What's the point in changing, when the world has gone right off and you know it. Well if I can't break you, what am I supposed to do? What's the point in us changing when the world is gone enough and you know you're dead? You know I can't go... You can change your voice, your thoughts, your feelings. You can scream out 'til you've lost your reason. You can suckle up to the titty that feeds you, or you can sit quiet as a church mouse, holding on to the buttons on your blouse.
5.
My Dear, I do believe I'm dying, of what ailments I have the slightest clue. While you sit next to me, and discuss plans fatefully, I will let you know that my love will stand true. On Sunday's we'd sing of golden wishes, at the church that my mother brought us to, but the older I get, and my stomach in a wreck, I believe that those beliefs will be untrue. Take this old guitar, let it keep on rambling, take this song that I have sung for you, Take whatever I have left, you can pile it in a mess I won't mind cause I won't be here with you. Forgive me Lord if I've fallen on forsaken, Take this heart and take this soul and make it new, For while I know that I have sinned, and I'll admit that I have grinned, Would you believe that I had done it all for you? Would you believe that I had done it all for you?
6.
I forgot what you said, and speaking bout arguments we're slowly going down. I've written it off, waiting for your consent, was a fool to your every sound. Well you get what you want, and that means anything, Don't forget those pieces hanging off of me. Maybe I'll pack it up,and move it down the street, I've gotta stay away from your chronic disease. My bones are bending, sinking in wet cement, my head's a thousand stone. Staring at the walls, wondering what it all meant, are you not coming home? Now you get what you want, and that means everything, but there are still those pieces hanging off of me. Maybe I'll pack it up,and move it down the street, I've gotta stay away from your chronic disease. Now those poachers, they'll plant their traps at night. Carrying on with their day to day, in the daylight. Patiently waiting for you to drop your guard, and if you don't wait, they'll go too far...
7.
Everyday, things seem impossible in so many ways, if I could come up with just the right thing to say, can I see your face? Like the setting sun, we knew these days would impossibly come, my photograph's fading, but my memories hum. My fingers can't pick, but they can strum. If I could just set my course on the brightest star, flip a turnstile, turn the corner, and there you are. Like a mirage in my mind, slipping so quickly in and out of time. My words and my actions don't exactly align, they'll hold me for randsom, make me blind. If this selfish wish could come true, I'd change all the ways that I spoke about you. Make up my mind right, and tell you the truth, tell you the truth. If I could just set my course on the brightest star, flip a turnstile, turn the corner, and there you are. And we can talk about changing, and how it's just seconds away. Flip your collar, turn your back on all those mistakes. Hold so firmly your umbrella, avoid those apologies. Wait for someone to come crawling back on their knees.
